We can all agree that you can never get too much education and that everyone can benefit by improving himself or herself. What better way than to read books that are written for this purpose by people that have gone through similar circumstances or experts in a particular field.

It is true that we can harm ourselves by a lack of knowledge. It could mean missing a promotion at work, possibly losing your job to someone more qualified, not being accepted to a college, costly repairs because of a repair you were not able to handle and countless other losses.

Eventually you automatically look for information to increase your knowledge, whether by reading a book, researching the internet or asking an expert. You become a walking encyclopedia of knowledge and a 'go to' person for everyone that you are associated with. You will either have the knowledge yourself, know where to find it, know someone who knows it, or in some instances, knowledge will find you.
